Nestled in the breathtaking town of Lillehammer, this hotel surpasses expectations with a blend of affordable luxury and exemplary service. The location is excellent, boasting beautiful scenic views and an accessible proximity to local attractions. From its doorstep, it's a short journey to the Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Track, the picturesque Lake Mjosa, and the Maihaugen Open-Air Museum. In this regard, the hotel serves as the perfect base for both adventure seekers and culture enthusiasts. What struck me first about the rooms was their inviting nature. The Nordic minimalistic design made each room feel spacious, comfortable, and incredibly clean. There was an impressive attention to detail, ensuring all the amenities - from the efficient WiFi to the comfortable bedding - worked to enhance my stay. Despite being a budget hotel, no corners have been cut in ensuring comfort and quality. One particular feature I'd like to highlight is the hotel's environmentally friendly approach. It is clear that great effort is put into maintaining sustainable operations, from energy-efficient fixtures to eco-friendly toiletries and waste management. It's refreshing to see a budget hotel committed to such initiatives without compromising on the quality of service. Perhaps the most memorable aspect of Lillehammer Turistsenter Budget Hotel, however, was the staff. From the moment I arrived, the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable.

Situated in central Dombås, this hotel lies 700 metres above sea level at the foot of the Dovrefjell Mountains. It offers free Wi-Fi, private parking and sauna access. The hotel is right in town, handy to everything. We’d booked a mezzanine room and they changed it for us. The stairs were too steep for us. The new room was large and comfortable and the bed was lovely. Had the evening meal there and it was good, as was breakfast. Nothing to complain about at all.

* Newly renovated Aksjemøllen by Classic Norway, has a unique atmosphere and charm. Modern, clean and very comfortable room for a family (2 adults and a child). Perfect location for visiting Lillehammer only a few minutes walk from train station. The adjoining restaurant is lovely and the food was brilliant - good selection of vegetarian food too. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.

This hotel is 700 metres from Hafjell Alpine Centre and Bike Park in the scenic Gudbrandsdalen Valley. It offers a free ski storage and guest rooms with a fridge and cable TV. The location, it is so close to the ski area. It was clean, the breakfast was good, the parking is free, heated bathroom floor.

Situated on Lillehammer’s main street, Storgata, this hotel offers a free evening meal and free WiFi internet access. Birkebeineren Ski Stadium is within 15 minutes’ drive. We liked the hotel so much! The staff was very nice and attentive. The room and the hotel as a whole were exceptionally clean. Everything was in order in our room, every last bulb and switch. The breakfast was delicious. And the location was very convenient. Overall, a very cozy experience. We especially enjoyed the hotel's lobby where you can get a cup of coffee and sip it by the fireplace. Looking forward to staying there again!

About a 10 minute walk to get to downtown and you can ski right outside.

This hotel is surrounded by mountain landscapes and just 1 km from the entrance to the Rondane National Park. The view is great. Good to walk around. We got there in the sunset time, it was stunning. The decoration of the hotel has historical pictures and furniture, very stylish. Dinner and breakfast are good. It's a little bit of drive from the main road. If you have a car, no problem.
