Situated in Reykholt, within 19 km of Geysir and 29 km of Gullfoss Waterfall, Blue Hotel Fagrilundur - On The Golden Circle features free WiFi. We loved absolutely everything! The location was perfect for a stopover before heading out for a day trip on the golden circle. The restaurant across the hotel was great. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Bathroom was awesome. Bed was big and comfy and the hot tubs outside were just amazing to spend time in. Big bonus having the big bathrobes and slippers to go straight from your room to the bathtubs outside. Loved our stay there and we will be back! Cannot recommend it enough!

Situated in Ölfus, 48 km from The Pearl, Hotel Kvika features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. We stayed at 7 hotels in Iceland. By far this one was the best, mainly because the staff were so helpful, welcoming and genuine. The atmosphere in the hotel was so peaceful and calm, it felt like staying in our friends house. There is a perfect hygge lounge for viewing the stars or northern lights if your lucky. Rooms and beds were high quality, recently renovated, very comfy. Hot tub area is perfect. Free tea and cookies was the cherry on the top. Again special shout out to the staff, they went above and beyond their duties to make us feel welcome.
