Quiet location, very easy walk to a supermarket, and extremely cosy place to sleep. 30 minute walk to town or easy taxi ride using Uber or similar local apps (or the taxi rank by McDonalds). There's a great kitchen which helps reduce eating out costs which can be steep in Rovaniemi for a family, and an excellent shower. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property without reservation.

Hicimos caminatas en la nieve con los snowshoes gratuitos, compartimos una fogata en el espacio colectivo y la cabaña tenía una temperatura perfecta pese al frío de afuera. Nos encantó el lugar y ojalá podamos volver!

Stunning setting on a husky farm and overlooking the frozen lake. Kids had alot of freedom and were able to roam around safely in the woods and in the snow at the front of the cabin. We used the sledges they had available and cross country skis. My husband and I did the sauna and ice dip which was brilliant fun. Kitchen facilities were pretty basic but the cabin was super warm and cosy - they have a little kota available that we cooked sausages on Had a husky ride with korvala. My husband and I ended up each mushing a dog sled each which was amazing. We had a kennel tour and was nice to see how loved and cared for the dogs were as this was a major decision in going to korvala.

Our stay at Jarno’s cottage was absolutely wonderful. The property was pre-heated for our late arrival, the roads were well maintained despite the snow and the owners were very communicative and helpful. The cottage has all the modern facilities that one could wish for including comfy beds, sauna, well equipped kitchen and nice siting area. It is beautifully situated by a lake which freezes over in the winter and which warrants privacy and tranquility. The owners are very caring, friendly and accommodating making the experience one of a kind. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and would love to return in the future. Thank you Jarno and Julia!

La Villa Arctic Light está en Rovaniemi, a 3,8 km de la oficina principal de correos de Santa Claus Village y a 6 km del centro de ciencias Arktikum. Our flight got canceled so we booked this villa for 6 people only for a night. We really liked the villa, it's very spacious, very very clean, well equipped and beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend if you have a rented car :)

El lugar donde están las cabañas es de cuento. En un bosque y frente a un lago congelado donde vimos las auroras boreales nuestra primera noche. Tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar y para vivir. Excelente calefacción a pesar de los -28grados que hacía en el exterior. Muy buen wifi. Jaakko fue muy amable y hospitalario.
