Three ladies in their seventies so only downside was the pedestrian only access was rather steep. Fortunately we realized this and took wheeled cases. The view over the tree tops to the sea was consequentially amazing!

Nice little coastal town with plenty of restaurants and sights. You can do to the beach, walk down the train bridge, go up the mountain on quite accessible trails, it's all up to you. While a bit touristy, the town is nice, and has very nice people everywhere, helping you to have a good time!

We liked Barmouth. It has a lovely beach. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. If you like walking, Barmouth is ideal. The town proved to be an ideal base for exploring the local area. Besides using the car, you can take advantage of the railway which runs all along the Cambrian coast and is a great alternative.

WE were there for the walks in Snowdonia.
WE were there for the walks in Snowdonia. Barmouth itself is a rather shabby looking town with funfairs and cheap eateries. There is only one good restaurant, Bistro Bermo which did us a beautiful takeaway because they have no room for dogs. The pubs locally served mainly very unhealthy food straight out of the freezer into the microwave. We did have one lovely fresh fish meal at the 'Last Inn'. The level of obesity we saw in Barmouth generally was immediately obvious and very concerning.
Our hotel/B&B was on the outskirts of the town offering stupendous views of the bridge and estuary and into the harbour. It was ideally positioned for walks in Snowdonia and along the coast.

Been visiting Barmouth area for years.
Been visiting Barmouth area for years. Wide Sandy beaches and dunes. Barmouth is a small town with basic shops, takeaways and a good amount of pay parking.
Outside of the town are lots of smaller villages, beautiful scenery including Snowdonia and castles such as Harlech.
If you want a good breakfast/ fry up try the Milky Bar cafe just up from the level crossing. Never had a bad meal there in 40 years 😊👍
This is a beautiful hotel set high above the town with fantastic views over the bay. The room (no.10) was a lovely standard with sea views from both the bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed, crisp linen, fluffy towels and fab toiletries - just what you need after a long day of sightseeing.
The food at the hotel is wonderful, particularly the evening menu. I’d highly recommend it, especially in comparison to what’s available in the town. The service and the staff were outstanding and it was a real pleasure to stay here for 3 nights
We were made to feel welcome from the second that we set foot into Bluebells Guest House by Bryn and his wife.
The guest house is located just a short walk from the town of Barmouth (probably about 5 minutes) but is right on the seafront.
The room was comfortable and quiet with a TV plus tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast was excellent, we had the full English both mornings but there were other choices of hot food, plus cereal and fruit.
We had an excellent stay at Bluebells Guest House and will definitely be back!
The cleanliness of our room was superb. Free toiletries very much appreciated. A nice touch having a fridge in the room. Good quality coathangers! Tea tray was excellent. The hotel is in a great spot for exploring Barmouth. The staff were friendly and helpful.....especially the lady who showed us to our room and the young man behind the bar who looked to be auditioning for Cocktail 2!! The wine price at £11.50 for a bottle of Merlot was very fair.
Wow what can I say, everything about this trip was just wow. We spent 3 nights at no6 and it was just amazing. food was out of this world, room was fantastic very clean views were outstanding. We came for my 45th and 15th wedding anniversary and Brad just made it even more special. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful hotel Beautiful place we will be back we have fallen in love with Barmouth thank you Brad 😊
It was lovely to stay in this beautifully kept stone Victorian guest house. It had a nice garden in the front of the house with a table and chairs- perfect for relaxing in at the end of the day with a bottle of wine. The rooms had gorgeous large windows that let in lots of light. Two of our rooms had views of the sea. The third had a view of the hills. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were modern.
Glenn and Sarah are excellent hosts and they looked after us very well, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious. The room was very well equipped and the bed was really comfortable. Hoping to stay here again during the August bank holiday weekend. I would recommend Ocean Drive to anyone. It's worth it just for the homemade Welsh cakes! 😋 🤣
The hotel is ideally placed, just a short walk takes you into Barmouth for the shops & restaurants. The owners are fantastic - so friendly & welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and the shower hot. A great place to stay.
The location of this hotel is possibly one of the very best in Barmouth. Our room, although very small, had a lovely sea view and balcony and was clean and the double bed was comfortable. The restaurant/bar overlooked the sea and provided good quality dinner and breakfast.
-Location was brilliant for walks and visiting Barmouth
-Information provided for finding the cabin was excellent, supplied a YouTube video of where to go.
-Preheated hot tub
-plenty of towels and toilet roll
-Heater was a plus, helped heat the cabin quickly
Excellent hotel and location, easy street parking nearby, clean spacious room (the fridge was very useful). If I go to Barmouth again (a high possibility) I'd stay at this establishment again without any hesitation. I'd also recommend to family and friends.
Lovely place in Barmouth, not fare from town centre you can walk to pub and come back. Great location for local attraction like waterfalls or sandy beaches and Snowdonia National Park mountains❤️
Easy to find, clean, and very polite and friendly staff. Located in town with everything nearby and in walking distance. Love this hotel and will definitely be back.
Barmouth Beach Club was a lovely place to stay, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was lovely and also very close to the beach.
