It reminds me of the country house remodel tv shows. They took a old farm/ house and made it into a lovely place to stay. Everything was perfect and clean. It is actually better than the photos. We enjoyed our 3 night stay here very much. It was a easy drive to visit Figueres and Girona as well as some super charming old villages nearby. There is also a very interesting ancient Greek/Roman ruins to visit just a few miles away. I would highly recommend staying here!

Very close to the beach and all the restaurants in Calella. The room was quite big and very tastefully decorated. Nice shower room. The hosts were very friendly and professional. Fantastic breakfast that is served in a garden under a lemon tree! We also liked a little honesty bar in the garden - great to grab a drink after your dinner.

We felt that Masferran was the gem we had been looking for. Very friendly staff, great service and we felt at home as much as is possible when you are travelling. The French border is also just 20 minutes' drive away. Hostal La Florida is a real gem. This was my second visit. Spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. Good breakfast buffet which we ate in the garden area. Room was cleaned and tidied each morning.
