Lovely room with very comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Danielle was friendly and helpful and made sure we knew where to find dinner when we arrived late. It was great to stay in this lovely village and walk to Monet's Garden in the morning.

Our family stay at La Petite Maison de Giverny was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Caroline and Hugues, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was exceptional. They surprised us with delightful local gastronomical treats, fresh flower arrangements from their own garden, provided excellent restaurant recommendations, and even had toys ready for our daughter, making her feel right at home. The location of the property is nothing short of amazing, nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Giverny, within walking distance to Monet's house and gardens. The accommodations exceeded our expectations in every way; contemporary modernity unified with old world charm and amplified with every high tech amenity and high end finishes/details, all without taking away from the historical feel of the estate that it was rebuilt on, truly deserving a rating beyond 5 stars. High end finishes all through out the property, water pressure that is just right and even a collection of books and magazines to enjoy while relaxing. Staying here felt like living in a dream, or perhaps a living painting. We wholeheartedly recommend La Petite Maison de Giverny to anyone looking for an extraordinary getaway. You will not want to leave.... Not to mention the fabulous outdoor sauna, which was just divine on a rainy afternoon in mid May. Caroline and Hugues, we look forward to coming back again! Imagine staying in a little piece of paradise a few minutes walk away from Monet’s garden. The hosts went above and beyond to make you feel part of the community with their helpful suggestions and pointers. So accommodating and welcoming! We felt like part of the family. Perfect location to visit the gardens and village as well as the surrounding area. Parking available if you have a car. The huge varied breakfast was fabulous and served with a smile. Fresh eggs each morning provided by “the girls” in the garden was a treat! The rooms are modern, beautiful and comfortable, I could have stayed longer! The thing I will miss most besides the beautiful surroundings is our private chorus of birds who greeted us each morning with soulful, beautiful songs

Breakfast was fantastic, plentiful, fresh fruit salad, croissants, bread, local yoghurts, great home-made jams, etc. Delightful host who went out of her way to help make our stay perfect and even bought our advance Monet tickets to save the queue!

Hosts delivered fresh warm croissants and baguettes each morning. They were friendly, welcoming and charming. We had our own place to park (it's very difficult to park in Giverny) and an small patio with a table and chairs and yard with chairs to relax in. Most of all, you couldn't find a better location. We were in the heart of Giverny, among many galleries, restaurants and shops. My husband loved the Mechanical Museum a few buildings away. It was only a 5 minute walk to Monet's house and garden and the Impressionist Museum. Plus, read up on the history and the painters who lived here during Monet's time.

We loved the location, the view (owner's spectacular garden), the kindness and helpfulness of the owner (Mr. Buissonnets was delightful, as was his dog Maggie, and he even drove us to the train station and the restaurant.--he went much further than simply being the landlord--he was terrific!
